Blandine Sala
Founder & Immigration Lawyer
Blandine Sala is the founder of Sala Legal, a firm exclusively dedicated to immigration law.
Passionate about international relations and multiculturalism, and fully aware of the challenges surrounding the migration process, Ms. Sala aimed to establish a versatile firm that handles temporary and permanent residency applications and offers representation services before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Sensitive to her clients’ realities, she is committed to using the law to serve people and simplify their immigration processes.
During her studies and after earning her title as a lawyer, Ms. Sala was deeply involved in various organizations promoting human rights, particularly women’s rights. Alongside her private practice, she managed a legal information clinic in an organization defending the rights of individuals living with episodic illnesses.

Barbara Brizuela
Immigration Lawyer
Ms. Brizuela graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Montreal, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in civil law. During her post-secondary studies, she completed a college term in Kpovié, Benin, as well as a university term in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After completing her articling at the Quebec Bar School under the mentorship of Ms. Sala, Ms. Brizuela joined the Sala Legal team in 2019.
Ms. Brizuela is dedicated to providing rigorous service with a human touch. She is aware of global challenges pertaining to immigration and handles each case with professionalism and transparency.
She is fluent in French, English, and Spanish.

Justine Perron-Thivierge
Senior Paralegal
Ms. Perron-Thivierge holds a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Paralegal Studies, College Ahuntsic in Montreal.
Following this intensive 3-year program, she joined Sala Legal in 2021. Her understanding of social issues and her desire to help others led her to explore immigration law.
Working closely with the firm’s lawyers, Ms. Perron-Thivierge contributes to the progress of cases and ensures smooth communication between clients and lawyers.
She takes pride in building client trust and attentively addressing their needs.
